Default Really wierd buffer.

Okay, so I recently tried this build instead of the traditional Sabway SS for vanquishing earlier on. The only problem is I haven't tried it in a full physical group yet and I can't properly decide on the skills. It's mainly the elite, since it does many things at once and SS isn't really a dream elite. Oh, and the hero didn't hit 0 energy once. It was mainly to aid spamming SY and further power the damage of Barrage though since I was being too lazy to hit BHA or interrupt properly.

[order of pain][dark fury][barbs][mark of pain][enfeebling blood][masochism][no skill][no skill]
12+1+1 Curses, 10+1 Blood Magic, 8+1 Soul Reaping.

The one I used in the vanquish was using Death Pact Signet and Blood Renewal, but now it's Signet of Removal and Blood Renewal (Still).

There are other support skills in the Curses line I can use, such as enchant removal in general, skills which lower the rate of attack, Plague Sending + Foul Feast, Weaken Armour and so on. I just need feedback to make the primary template better, although I can't really think of much to improve on because the normal Orders template is probably stronger. Please note I'm basing this primarily as a hero build, as to why there are no PvE skills although the EV Assassin & "Finish Him!" etc. can be used. The secondary is also open for use which is a good thing.

Cheers for feedback.

A couple things:

You shouldn think twice before putting Order of Pain and Dark Fury on the same N hero - especially if this character doesn't pack any self heal. Even if he does... he does tend to get stressed out, oversac, or underperform. Dark Fury can be brought on any supporter with 5 Blood Magic.

Second, a question: Is your stipulation that "I want a hero with both Mark of Pain and Order of Pain at working specs"? Because I've tried various configs, and they were all a bit sub-par. Not non-working, mind you... just not ideal.

I'd drop MoP unless you plan on micro'ing it. Still even then, it's just a bad version of Splinter Wep mainly cause of it's horrid recharge.

I'd also drop Barbs but that's just my preference in a build like this. If something on the team has Orders, I'd want as little downtime as possible. The cast time on Barbs seems abit long for trying to do all of it at once.

I understand what you mean about it on heroes, but since this isn't in the H/H&AI forums...

Although if I go for things like Splinter Weapon I'll be speccing in four attributes. The reason I didn't go for that is because I wanted it to be able to carry Barbs while mitigating damage and buffing the hell out of melee. On a player it would be far, far more effective than on a hero though. I know there are a few flaws in it, but I'm sure that a hybrid of throwing hexes on targets while using orders and mitigating damage mainly from melee would be doable if you use it in a certain way.

Barbs while physicals are running in, Orders up, MoP down? It's mainly a concept, but I'm sure this is quite doable.

If you are bringing a skill like Mark of Pain on a hero, which is essentially a cheap skill with massive damage and an ugly recharge, I'd try to cut that recharge as hard as possible. Serpent's Quickness and double HSR seems like an idea.

Run Orders/Blood on a Dervish hero.

[Arcane Zeal][Dark Fury][Order of Pain][Mystic Healing][Vow of Piety][Watchful Intervention][Faithful Intervention][Dwayna's Touch]

Feel free to add Blood Rit, Masochism or SoLS at the expense of some Derv self-heals/e-management strategy. The overall point is to use the D/ self-heals because they synergize well with sac-based hero-builds.

Then on the real Necro player run:
[Necrosis][Finish Him!][Assassin's Promise][Mark of Pain][Barbs][Rigor Mortis][Enfeebling Blood][Great dwarf Weapon]

Basically keep all the spells that need to be intelligently targeted on the human bar and all the untargeted/unintelligent skills on the hero bar.

Keep Splinter on the Barragers.

Moloch is right, OOP+DF has a steep hp sacrifice (34% every 5s). If you want to pack them on the same necro, you can use something like this:

[Splinter Orders;OAhlQoFoBGKiKhxMJYIMHIHsFWVxFA]

...for a hero.

I agree on Aura of the lich as the best elite for your build imo. The strength of the D/N is that when he sacs he can heal himself just after with either the party heal of the big dwayna heal. The necro can't... So I'd take some more defense. It even works with low spec, and works even better with a 20% longer enchants weapon mod which you should already be carrying.
